PC Race Analysis Software: Key Features
Once you have downloaded your data to the PC, it is easy to analyze because everything is linked together. While replaying a race or practice session on the PC you can watch the car's position around the track as well as the data. By simply dragging the cursor anywhere along the track you can view the data that corresponds to that exact position. If you want to concentrate on a particular sensor like G-Force, lambda, or shocks you can use a pop up screen that will display only that data. You can isolate individual laps or overlay laps to find out why a lap was faster or slower than others. The PC analysis software will also immediately tell you your fastest lap, slowest lap, and all the data that goes along with them. |

| Above is a screen shot of the race analyzer software. This screen is displaying the log file information, a general description of the selected log file, colorful tachometer, engine vital information, a list and description of the logged sensors, sensor data, a list of lap times with the best lap time highlighted, and a graph. You can graph any available sensor by selecting which sensors you would like to compare and create a graph. When a lap is selected, all the data relating to that lap will be displayed. Graphing a cars data is easy, simply select which sensors you would like to graph and create a plot. Now you can see the data for those sensors over all of the laps. |

| To look at the track map and your lap lines, click the world map icon on the bottom and the track map will appear. To play the race use the VCR looking controls in the bottom left hand corner. You can play the race in regular mode, fast forward, or reverse. To further analyze the data at a specific point on the track simply select that point on the screen and all the data for that point will appear. You can also zoom in on any part of the track. This will allow you to easily find your fastest line through a turn or any other party of the track. When you are playing a race and you are zoomed in on a particular part of the track, the window will automatically pan when the car reaches the edge of the frame. For more information on track mapping please click here or click the track mapping button on the top of this screen. |
